As Christians, we are called to live in a world that is not our home. But being different from the world isn't an accident, it is part of God's purpose for His people.
In this opening message from our verse-by-verse study through 1 Peter, we discover that while we may be strangers in this world, we are not strangers to God. Through 1 Peter 1:1-2, we examine the position, privilege, purpose, and provision of the believer.
Before Peter teaches us how to live faithfully in a world that often opposes our faith, he reminds us of who we are in Christ.
Join us as we explore what it means to belong to God, live set apart for His purposes, and experience His grace and peace in a world that is not our home.
