We begin our Advent series with the very first promise of Christmas- Genesis 3:15. When humanity fell in Eden, God didn't abandon us. He declared that a Savior would come, the serpent would be crushed, and hope would rise again. Jesus is the promised Seed- the One who entered our darkness, took the serpent's strike at the cross, and rose to secure our victory. Advent reminds us that the conflict is real, the Savior has come, and the final triumph is certain. The Promised King reigns and He is coming again!
